Started in 2000
in Wisconsin.... we hope to transform consumer and small business
use of legal information and attorney services by providing a comfortable,
friendly, low-stress atmosphere where you choose your level of service.
We have attorneys and clerks offering everything from assistance
with forms to full attorney services. We also offer unbundled services
such as coaching, counseling, and mediation, as well as popular
forms for divorce, real estate and powers of attorney.
To achieve all
of the above, we have designed a unique setting and convenient locations
with plenty of parking, on direct bus lines for ease of access.

Hours
Open at 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday
Close at
6:00 p.m. Monday & Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday &
Fridays.
Saturday Open 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Hartford & Kenosha may have alternate hours Monday through
Friday and Saturdays only by appointment.
How it Began
Horizons
Law Group, LLC was founded in 2000 as Legal Horizons, LLC by attorney
Michelle B. Fitzgerald, a former Milwaukee Public Schools' high
school teacher for seven years. She created the concept after seeing
the need for professional legal services that offered flexibility
in services offered and pricing options.
Michelle hopes
that after coming to Horizons Law Group, LLC and learning about
what we have to offer, you will have a new vision of the legal profession,
as well as a sense of comfort and empowerment when facing a legal
issue.
Employees
Legal Clerks
Cheryl Fritche in our Hartford Office and Tina Gibbs
or Karen Tylicki in our Wauwatosa Office, and in Kenosha by appointment.
They assist customers with such things as finding the right legal
form, brochure or book on a topic or helping you find a case or
reference material that pertains to your legal issue. Our clerks
also assists with completing necessary forms for divorce filings.

Attorneys
Katie Babe graduated
Marquette Law School with an emphasis on elder law and Indian tribal
law. Prior to joining Horizons Law Group, LLC in early 2006, she
clerked for Legal Horizons, LLC in her second year of law school
and was Editor in Chief of the Marquette Elder's Advisor Law Review
in her third year. Katie is currently a member of the State Bar
and Waukesha nd Washington County Bar Associations. Katie is focusing
on family law, elder law, criminal, civil matters and mediation.
She is in our Hartford office one day per week and in the Wauwatosa
office other days.
Laurie
Bigsby graduated from Valparaiso University
School of Law of Valparaiso, Indiana and joined Horizons Law Group,
LLC in early 2005. Laurie practiced law in South Bend, Indiana since
1988 where her focus was family law and bankruptcy matters. She
continues to practice in the areas of bankruptcy, probate and estate
planning. Laurie is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the
Milwaukee Bar and the Waukesha Bar Association. Laurie works in
both the Hartford and Wauwatosa offices.
Michelle
Fitzgerald is an attorney and founder
of Horizons Law Group, LLC (formerly Legal Horizons, LLC). She practices
family law, including mediation and collaborative law, real estate,
and new business start-ups. She is an active member of the West
Suburban (Wauwatosa) Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, Milwaukee
Bar, and AWL. Michelle was a high school teacher for seven years
prior to law school and was active on the school management board.
She is currently active on the school management board for her children's
school, Milwaukee German Immersion School and is a board member
for the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin and the Wauwatosa Business
Improvement District (Village). Michelle was quoted extensively
in the April 2006 edition of Today's Wisconsin Women Magazine on
issues adult children face in caring for their aging parents. Michelle
works in the Wauwatosa office but also meets clients in the Hartford
and Kenosha offices.
Jane Jacobs graduated from Marquette University
Law School in 2005. During law school, she interned for the Honorable
Jon Wilcox of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and also studied law at
the University of Queensland, Australia. She practices family law,
estate planning, probate, and mediation. Jane is a member of the
State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association, the Milwaukee
Bar Association, the Washington County Bar Association and the Dane
County Bar Association. Jane works in our Wauwatosa office on Tuesdays
and in our Hartford office on Thursdays. In her free time, she enjoys
helping out at her children’s school and volunteering with her daughter
at the local food pantry.
Courtney
Moisio joined
Horizons Law Group, LLC in November 2005. Courtney formerly practiced
two years in Cook County, Illinois. Courtney's practice areas are
collection law, family law including adoption, guardianship, criminal,
real estate law and municipal work. Courtney received her J.D. from
Valparaiso University School of Law. Courtney is a member of the
American Bar Association, the Wisconsin State Bar Association, the
Milwaukee Bar Association and is a member of the Wisconsin Justinian
Society of Lawyers. Courtney is currently working three days per
week in our Wauwatosa office. .
Craig
Vance joined Horizons Law Group LLC in
February of 2007. He practices in many areas of consumer law, including
lemon law, warranty litigation, fraud, and fair debt collection
as well as handling other civil litigation and small claims matters.
Prior to joining Horizons, Craig had successfully handled hundreds
of lemon law and warranty litigation cases and is looking forward
to continuing his assistance of consumers in enforcing their rights.
Craig is a 2001 graduate of Marquette University Law School and
a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Washington County Bar
Association, and the Milwaukee Bar Association. He works in both
our Wauwatosa and Hartford offices. In his spare time, Craig enjoys
coaching Little League and youth soccer.
